My name is Christina and I'm a breast cancer survivor of 16 years (and counting).
I know what you're thinking...you must have been young!
Yes, I was young when I was diagnosed. Under thirty in fact.
There has been a lot of grief and loss in my journey overcoming cancer; but there has been lots of learning and growth about who I am too. I have read widely, thought deeply, written profusely and pondered relentlessly, all of which has led me to be here today.
Are you a breast cancer survivor too?
Has somebody you love being diagnosed?
The internet is awash with stories and information. It can be overwhelming.
What are the facts about the situation as you know it right now?
What do you have to do next?
Who can you reach out to for support?
You can only take one day at a time.
Put one foot in front of the other.
Be kind to yourself.
Like everybody else, I am a semi-regular on the socials.
Follow along too if you like!
