Hey! So Glad You're Here.
My name is Christina and I'm a breast cancer survivor of 16 years (and counting).

I know what you're thinking...you must have been young!
Yes, I was young when I was diagnosed. Under thirty in fact.

There has been a lot of grief and loss in my journey overcoming cancer; but there has been lots of learning and growth about who I am too. I have read widely, thought deeply, written profusely and pondered relentlessly, all of which has led me here today.
To this moment of me finding my voice to share this story with others, of putting my story out there so that if one other breast cancer survivor finds it and takes strength and courage from it so that they too can be a long term survivor - well, it will be worth the inner turmoil I feel right now at allowing others to bear witness.
I am a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin, niece, friend and colleague.
I am fiercely loyal, dedicated, hard-working, honest and resolute.
I am strong and intuitive; self-aware and pragmatic.
I am childless by circumstance.
I am also a long term breast cancer survivor - for which I am grateful and lucky.

My late father used to say, Christina Girl, put your shoulders back, hold your head up high and be proud.

So here I am.
